					<description>Thanks Ford.  I will go look up that book on Amazon right now.  I think there is a big demand for summarizing mistakes others have made in business history that if noted could help improve the decision making abilities of executives in just about any industry.

Now that you help me think about it, this is a common error among neophtes in most human endeavors. Histsorian David Hackett Fischer calls it the Prodigous Fallacy in his book, &lt;em&gt;Historian's Fallacies. &lt;/em&gt;Judging from you interesting blog, it's a book you might enjoy.

Many people believe if they just got onto one investment platform or just got associated with one broker dealer business would start falling from the sky, but it never does.  Hard work is the secret to rainmaking, not a single strategy or lucky break.
